Highland History, Honest Comfort
Ghillie Dhu and Glastig are Aos Sí's stone cottages at Tigh Phuirt, Glencoe / Ballachulish — a restored c.1830 croft split into two independent homes. The rooms are small, the ceilings are low, and the photos are honest. Guests who want a modern lodge should look at the octagonal cabins instead.
Both cottages are fully self-catering: kitchen, living space, bedrooms, bathrooms, wood-burning stove, and double glazing so the main road stays outside. Ghillie Dhu has high-speed WiFi; Glastig WiFi is coming soon. Easy access from the A82, with shops and a bus stop nearby, and sea / Loch Leven views from the cottage.
Book Glastig solo, Ghillie Dhu solo, or the Full House listing for both (sleeps 8). If either half is booked, Guesty closes the full-house option automatically.
